It was a day to regroup for our Post VDCC Girls Stage 1 Holmes, who went under to BULLS Stage 1 Girls POST in a disappointing result.
BULLS Stage 1 Girls POST set the target, making 0/150 from 20 overs. Georgia Ryan batted well for our opponents, making 38 off 28 balls. With the ball, Meredith Stark did the damage, claiming two for 20 off four overs.
In reply, we finished on 0/106 from 20 overs. Claire Miller's 19 off 19 balls was the highlight with the bat.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. The girls will be keen to turn things around after two straight losses. The team will be keen to bounce back.
