It was a day to regroup for our Valley A2, who lost out to Cleveland Cougars A2 on a day to learn from.
Our totals were 10/75 and 10/57, against Cleveland Cougars A2's 6/225. Paul Hanssens batted well for 35 off 73 balls with four fours. Jack Cross provided good support with 29. Our opponents' Liam Freeman was the standout with the ball, taking six for 17. Callum Brown chipped in with four for 24 for the visitors.
Hats off to Brock Balcombe, whose 101 not out was a classy century for our opponents. The visitors also got 47 from Tyler Brown.
Plenty to take out of this one.
