At La Frantz Oval, our Valley BMC - Div 1 fell short against BULLS Boys Div 1 away from home on Sunday.
We batted first and put 10/208 on the board from 48.1 overs. Leading the way was Isaiah Wijemanne with 34 off 46 balls. Charlie Barnett chipped in with 28. Noah Doxey claimed three for 21 for BULLS Boys Div 1.
Our opponents reached the target at 8/212 in 40.1 overs. Credit to Anmolpreet singh Salh, who made a half-century (69) for the hosts. Barnett was the pick of the bowlers, taking three for 29 off seven overs. Wijemanne offered good support with two for 29.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
