On Sunday at Norm McMahon Oval, our Valley BMC - Div 1 couldn't get past Wynnum Manly BMC Div 1 in Under 17 Club Challenge.
We made 10/131, while Wynnum Manly BMC Div 1 made 8/239. Ved Trivedi posted a terrific hundred for our opponents, finishing on 116. Blake Guest returned figures of three for 46 off ten overs. Isaiah Wijemanne offered good support with two for 37.
Harry Bridle top-scored, making 37 off 64 balls. Wijemanne contributed 35 off 73 balls. The visitors' best with the ball was Rudra Aahir (three for 17).
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
