It was a tough day out for our Valley BMC - Div 2, who lost out to Norths BMC 2 with lessons to take away.
We made 7/242, while Norths BMC 2 made 6/300. Aryan Unni posted an excellent hundred for the hosts, finishing on 106. Patrick Easter picked up two for 53 off eight overs. Charlie Barnett backed up well, taking two for 59.
Harry Bridle made a brilliant 63 off 93 balls, a well-made fifty. Jake Roberts brought up a classy half-century, finishing with 57 off 62 balls. Rudra Mahadik was the main threat for our opponents, taking three for 46.
There were some classy individual efforts to build on. That's two losses in a row, but the group will keep working hard.
Chins up, everyone.
