Our Valley BMC - Div 2 side proved too strong for Redlands Juniors 2 on Sunday at Ashgrove Oval 3.
It finished 8/241 to 10/96. Cooper Emmerson made a terrific 57 off 80 balls, a well-made fifty. Patrick Easter provided good support with 48. Hayden Farrow was the best of Redlands Juniors 2's bowlers, finishing with three for 41.
Emmerson was the pick of the bowlers, taking two for 5 off two overs. Luca Read weighed in with two for 14 off five overs.
A well-deserved win for the side. It's our first win of the season, and a well-deserved one.
A terrific effort from the team.
