On Saturday, our Valley DCC B2 secured a win against Bracken Ridge B2 for a brilliant result.
Bracken Ridge B2 made 10/33 and 9/306, and we made 10/218. Michael Garske passed fifty on the way to 92 off 128 balls with eight fours and one six. Jaliya Amarasinghe was the best of our opponents' bowlers, finishing with three for 30.
With the ball, Phil Tinetti did the damage, claiming three for 4 off four overs. Credit to Kansajith H De Silva Kalumini, who made a century (190) for the hosts.
It was a great all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. That's back-to-back wins for the team. A day to enjoy for everyone at Valley.
