Saturday didn't go our way, as our Valley DCC B3 lost out to Ashgrove Astronauts B3 on a tough day.
Ashgrove Astronauts B3's innings ended at 6/130 and 3/67, ours at 10/99 and 9/96. Leading the way was Daniel Kelly with 36 off 58 balls. Chris Woodley was the main threat for our opponents, taking three for 21.
Charlie Tracey returned figures of two for 9 off five overs. Anthony Smith weighed in with two for 13 off four overs. Richard Horsham led the way for the hosts with 34 off 42 balls.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
The results haven't gone our way lately, but the side will keep at it. Chins up, everyone.
