It was a good day out for our Valley DCC B3, who took the honours against Souths Magpies B3 on Saturday.
First up, Souths Magpies B3 made 6/194 from 35 overs. Noah Ebeling passed fifty for the hosts, finishing with 51. Helika Fernando added a handy 40 for our opponents.
In reply, the team reached the target at 4/195 in 32.5 overs. Charlie Tracey batted well for 41 off 29 balls with five fours and two sixes. There were also handy runs from Matthew Stephens (40).
A superb result for the side. That makes up for our loss to the hosts earlier in the season.
Onwards and upwards.
