It was a disappointing outing for our Valley DCC B3, who lost to WPC B3 in QSDCA Competitions action.
We posted 10/136 and 1/47, while WPC B3 made 5/251. A classy 50 off 61 balls from William Towers was the highlight. Five wickets for Sai Bhavani Venkatesh Gogeneni of the visitors, who returned five for 23.
Jim Gordon grabbed three for 36. Jason Slade posted 99 for our opponents, a stylish fifty. The visitors also got 44 from Henry Taylor.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around. On to the next one.
