It was a disappointing outing for our Valley DCC C2, who went down against Bulimba C2 away from home.
Bulimba C2 made 10/300, and we made 9/60 and 9/54. Steven Donohue was still there at the end on 19 off 20 balls. Lincoln Bradford returned three for 6 for the hosts.
With the ball, Alastair Williams did the damage, claiming three for 26 off eleven overs. Mark Bradford posted 71 for our opponents, a good fifty.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. The results haven't gone our way lately, but the side will keep at it. Thanks to the hosts for the contest.
