At South Oval, our Valley DCC C2 got up against Moggill C2 on Saturday.
Moggill C2 batted first and put 9/141 on the board from 35 overs. Peter Muruthi passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 63 not out. Karl Noronha bowled well to finish with two for 11.
In reply, the team reached the target at 4/145 in 31.4 overs. Noronha posted a half-century, making 88 not out off 90 balls with thirteen fours and one six.
An excellent result for the side.
We'd lost to the visitors earlier this season, so this one was especially pleasing. Onwards and upwards.
