It was a satisfying day for our Valley DCC C3, who got up against WPC C3 with a quality team effort.
Our innings: 7/137 and 0/36. WPC C3's: 10/106 and 10/64. Joshua Pope posted a half-century, making 62 not out off 92 balls with five fours and one six. Grant Noble carried on to an unbeaten 30 off 15 balls. Corey Parkinson was the main threat for our opponents, taking three for 28.
Our best with the ball was Damien Levett, who took three for 4. Credit to Parkinson, who made 27 for the visitors.
Onwards and upwards.
