It was a cracking day for our Valley KFC T20 Max, who knocked over Gold Coast KFC T20 Max on Tuesday at Ian Healy Oval.
Batting first, Gold Coast KFC T20 Max posted 7/109 from 20 overs. Samara Dulvin batted well for the visitors, making 34 off 31 balls. Our best with the ball was Sianna Ginger, who took three for 9.
In reply, the girls reached the target at 0/114 in 12 overs. Mikayla Hinkley passed fifty on the way to 59 not out off 41 balls with six fours and two sixes. Lucinda Bourke posted a half-century, making 54 not out off 31 balls with five fours and three sixes.
Contributions came from right through the line-up.
The team have now won three straight. An excellent effort from the girls.
