It was a satisfying day for our Valley KFC T20 Max, who recorded a win over South Brisbane KFC T20 Max at Allan Border Field, winning by nine wickets.
First up, South Brisbane KFC T20 Max made 6/199 from 20 overs. Brandon Faber made a classy 74 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century. Tom Hallion was the pick of our bowlers with two for 31.
In reply, the side reached the target at 1/200 in 16.1 overs. Jack Wildermuth was the star with the bat, compiling a terrific 129 off 55 balls with twelve fours and nine sixes. Hugh Weibgen posted a half-century, making 52 not out off 39 balls with four fours and one six.
A well-deserved win for the girls. That's back-to-back wins for the side. Well done to everyone involved.
