In Mens Competitions, our Valley KFC T20 Max came up short against Wynnum-Manly KFC T20 Max at Bill Albury Oval on Sunday.
After batting first, we finished on 5/172 from 20 overs. Max Bryant passed fifty on the way to 55 off 39 balls with three fours and four sixes.
Wynnum-Manly KFC T20 Max knocked off the runs, finishing on 4/176 in 18.5 overs. Nicholas Hobson posted 66 not out for the hosts, a polished fifty. Credit to Ali Nasar Zaidi, who made a half-century (50) for our opponents. Our best with the ball was Dushyant Thaman, who took two for 29.
There were some polished individual efforts to build on.
We will be looking to get back in the winning column soon. Well played to the hosts.
