It just wasn't our day: our Valley Mens 1st Grade were unable to get the better of Northern Suburbs Mens 1st Grade at Ian Healy Oval on Saturday.
Over the course of the match we totalled 9/198, and Northern Suburbs Mens 1st Grade 8/384. Freddie Wallis posted a half-century, making 66 off 211 balls with four fours. Max Bryant posted a half-century, making 51 off 109 balls with eight fours. Connor Nowlan added a useful 36 off 55 balls.
A five-wicket haul to Cameron Boyce, who finished with five for 140 off 35 overs. Credit to Mitch Doolan, who made a century (181) for the hosts. Raveesh Srivastava posted 54 for our opponents, a quality fifty.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
