Despite some good moments, our Valley Mens 2nd Grade were unable to get the better of Gold Coast Mens 2nd Grade on a day that didn't go our way.
Over the course of the match we totalled 3/28, and Gold Coast Mens 2nd Grade 10/343.
Joshua Lait was the pick of our bowlers with four for 47. Nissanpal Singh Saroya added three for 74. Our opponents' Tim Martin made a quality 139. Fifty for Brody Felton, who made 71 for the hosts.
We will be looking to get back in the winning column soon. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
