Despite a solid effort, our Valley Mens 2nd Grade went under to Northern Suburbs Mens 2nd Grade.
We batted first and finished with 5/152 on the board from 20 overs. Fifty for Oliver Dauber, who finished with 54 off 46 balls. There were also handy runs from Oliver Harris (29).
Northern Suburbs Mens 2nd Grade knocked off the runs, finishing on 4/153 in 19.2 overs. Credit to Sam Neale, who made a half-century (62) for our opponents. Archer Tallon led the way with the ball, finishing with two for 29.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. The results haven't gone our way lately, but the boys will keep at it.
On to the next one.
