It just wasn't our day: our Valley Mens 2nd Grade were bettered by Northern Suburbs Mens 2nd Grade on a frustrating day.
Northern Suburbs Mens 2nd Grade finished on 7/272, and we finished on 10/192. Hats off to Hugh Taylor, whose 114 not out was a classy century for the hosts. Benjamin Ferguson led the way with the ball, finishing with two for 47.
Leading the way was Ferguson with 43 off 48 balls. Daniel Desmet chipped in with 38.
That's fourteen losses in a row, but the boys will keep working hard. Congratulations to our opponents on the win.
