It was a disappointing outing for our Valley Mens 2nd Grade, who came off second best against Sandgate-Redcliffe Mens 2nd Grade at home on Saturday.
Sandgate-Redcliffe Mens 2nd Grade made 10/377, and we made 10/282. Jack Beath's 120 off 126 balls was a century to savour. Daniel Desmet weighed in with 34 off 87 balls. Jacob Turner returned three for 29 for our opponents.
Our best with the ball was Ted Challenor, who took three for 31. A century to Aidan Firman for the visitors: 143. Jackson Sweeney posted 93 for our opponents, a polished fifty.
It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
