It was a disappointing outing for our Valley Mens 3rd Grade, who couldn't get past Wynnum-Manly Mens 3rd Grade in Mens Competitions action.
Wynnum-Manly Mens 3rd Grade made 5/304, and we made 10/104 and 1/48. Harry Carroll top-scored with 37 off 39 balls. Solid support came from Connor Walker, who made 28. Dylan Henderson returned three for 39 for the visitors.
Nissanpal Singh Saroya starred with the ball, taking two for 70. Hats off to Varinder Nakhwal, whose 101 not out was a stylish century for our opponents.
Credit to the visitors, who played well. We'll go again.
