It was a day to regroup for our Valley Mens 4th Grade, who were downed by South Brisbane Mens 4th Grade on a tough day.
Our innings: 10/123. South Brisbane Mens 4th Grade's: 7/262 and 1/37. Declan Lambert carried on to an unbeaten 48 off 63 balls. A five-wicket haul to Nathan Hicks for the visitors (five for 23).
Blake Nelson grabbed four for 64. Lambert added two for 39. Ryan Beatty made a good 72 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
The team will be keen to bounce back.
