There was no joy for our Valley Mens 5th Grade, who were well beaten by Western Suburbs (2) Mens 5th Grade with lessons to take away.
First up, we made 10/111 from 31.1 overs. Tristan Tinetti was the pick of our batters with 25 off 58 balls. Karan Pal bowled well for Western Suburbs (2) Mens 5th Grade, taking three for 29.
The visitors reached the target at 2/113 in 24.3 overs. Credit to Bailee Brown, who made a half-century (51) for our opponents.
The visitors were simply too good on the day. The results haven't gone our way lately, but the team will keep at it.
Well played to our opponents.
