Over the course of the match we totalled 10/88 and 10/207, and Sandgate-Redcliffe Mens 6th Grade 7/176 and 5/63. Thomas Small made a superb 55 off 114 balls, a well-made fifty. Michael Messer posted a half-century, making 52 off 77 balls with eleven fours. Nicholas Fenech contributed 33 off 59 balls. Clinton Andersen was the main threat for our opponents, taking four for 16. Gurnoor Sandhu backed up with three for 23 for the hosts.
Conor Rees led the way with the ball, finishing with three for 25. Harrison Willis claimed three for 32 as well. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Devam Shah, who made 66. There were 40 from Sandhu for the hosts.
There were some stylish individual efforts to build on. We'll go again.
