Despite some good moments, our Valley Mens 6th Grade went down to Western Suburbs Mens 6th Grade on a day that didn't go our way.
The scorecard reads Valley Mens 6th Grade 7/227, Western Suburbs Mens 6th Grade 6/299. Michael Messer's 74 off 79 balls was a half-century to remember. Harry Hunter's 54 off 74 balls was a half-century to remember.
With the ball, Connor Bauman did the damage, claiming two for 44 off nineteen overs. Credit to Sam Vaughey, who made a half-century (92) for the hosts.
Plenty to take out of this one.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
