It was one to learn from for our Valley Womens 2nd Grade, who had to give best to Wynnum-Manly Womens 2nd Grade on a frustrating day.
We batted first and put 9/106 on the board from 40 overs.
Wynnum-Manly Womens 2nd Grade reached the target at 6/109 in 26 overs. Astrid Muniandy made a stylish 53 not out for the hosts, a well-deserved half-century. Reniesha-Rub Rony picked up two for 18 off three overs. Billie Ryan added two for 30.
Credit to our opponents, who played well. We'll go again.
