It was a tough day out for our VDCC C1 Diehards, who had to give best to Carina Cricket Club Senior Mixed at Marchant Park - Oval 8.
With the bat first up, we compiled 10/94 from 39.3 overs. ABHINANDAN JAIN's 18 off 23 balls was the highlight with the bat. Max McKee was the pick of Carina Cricket Club Senior Mixed's bowlers with three for 23.
In reply, our opponents passed our total, finishing on 10/99 in 34.1 overs. Our best with the ball was JAIN, who took three for 6.
Credit to the visitors, who played well.
Chins up, everyone.
