There was no joy for our Valley Mens 3rd Grade, who had to give best to Western Suburbs Mens 3rd Grade on a day to learn from.
Western Suburbs Mens 3rd Grade batted first and made 7/193 from 40 overs. Fifty for Danny Young, who made 84 not out for our opponents. Josh Tazzyman returned figures of three for 40 off seven overs.
In reply, we finished on 128 from 35 overs. Hilton Stephens was the pick of our batters with 28 off 47 balls. Carson Thorne played a handy knock of 24. Charlie Bignell did the damage for the hosts with three for 24.
We'll go again.
