Our Valley Mens 4th Grade had plenty to celebrate after they had the measure of Western Suburbs Mens 4th Grade on Saturday at Katherine Raymont Oval.
With the bat, we made 10/139 and 10/156; Western Suburbs Mens 4th Grade made 10/106 and 6/52. Corey McAlpin's 58 off 52 balls was a half-century to remember. McAlpin chipped in with 36. GITARTH GUPTA took a six-wicket haul for the hosts, finishing with six for 47. A five-wicket haul to GUPTA for our opponents (five for 51).
Declan Lambert picked up four for 21 off sixteen overs.
Our bowlers shared the wickets around. That's back-to-back wins for the team. Revenge, of sorts: the hosts had won our previous meeting this season.
Congratulations to all involved.
