Our Valley Mens 3rd Grade had plenty to celebrate after they registered a win over University of Queensland Mens 3rd Grade on Saturday in Mens Competitions.

Across the match we made 10/116, with University of Queensland Mens 3rd Grade on 4/81. Joshua Martin played a fine hand of 35 off 102 balls. Cameron Willis contributed 33 off 97 balls. Credit to Jack Shelley, who claimed a five-wicket haul (five for 23) for our opponents. Tom Longhurst added three for 8 for the visitors.

Thomas Wainwright returned figures of two for 27 off 4.2 overs. Fifty for James Guy, who made 50 for our opponents.

Contributions came from right through the line-up. It's our first win of the season, and a well-deserved one. Great work, everyone.
