Despite a solid effort, our Valley BMC - Division 1 were undone by Gold Coast U17 BMC in a disappointing result.
Batting first, we were all out for 163 in 49.2 overs. Fifty for Adam Noon, who finished with 67 off 106 balls. Credit to Michael Causer, who took three for 23 for Gold Coast U17 BMC.
Our opponents reached the target at 9/164 in 48.3 overs. George Diprose held the visitors' innings together with 47. Our best with the ball was Hugh Clementson, who took two for 9. Aamay Wadhwani backed up well, taking two for 17.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. On to the next one.
