It was one to learn from for our Valley DCC B2, who came off second best against Ashgrove Astronauts B2 at North Oval in QSDCA Competitions.
With the bat first up, we compiled 8/133 from 35 overs. Tristan Tinetti's 28 off 32 balls was the highlight with the bat. There were also handy runs from Yuvraj Keeney (21). Thinesh Muthusamy claimed three for 15 for Ashgrove Astronauts B2.
In reply, the hosts passed our total, finishing on 4/136 in 23.4 overs. Hendrik Kruger batted well for our opponents, making 43 off 26 balls. With the ball, Keeney did the damage, claiming two for 20 off 3.4 overs.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
Chins up, everyone.
