Our Valley District Open Women side couldn't get past Norths Senior Women Opens away from home.
With the bat first up, we compiled 5/160 from 35 overs. A classy 52 off 75 balls from Georgina Peters was the highlight. Charlotte Fenech contributed 27 off 28 balls.
Norths Senior Women Opens knocked off the runs, finishing on 3/163 in 22.5 overs. Sophia Klein passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 61 not out.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. Well played to the hosts.
