It was a disappointing outing for our Valley Districts T20, who were unable to get the better of North Rebels on a frustrating day.
First up, we made 8/137 from 20 overs. Dom Scott's 42 off 29 balls was the highlight with the bat. Vijaysai Rampalli was the pick of North Rebels' bowlers with three for 16.
The hosts knocked off the runs, finishing on 3/140 in 11.2 overs. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Bhanu Prakash Doppala, who made 70. Dileep Gurajala helped the hosts with 42. Henry Mercer returned figures of two for 17 off three overs.
Chins up, everyone.
