In Brisbane Women's Competition, our Valley District Open Women got past Mudgeeraba Nerang DCC in a pleasing performance.
We finished on 1/103, with Mudgeeraba Nerang DCC on 102. Georgina Peters's 38 off 54 balls was the highlight with the bat.
Credit to Quin Whitchurch, who made 28 for the visitors. Peters was the pick of our bowlers with two for 5. Kaila Walsh weighed in with two for 15 off three overs.
The work with the ball set up the win. Well played, all.
