Despite some good moments, our Valley Mens 1st Grade were second best against Western Suburbs Mens 1st Grade with lessons to take away.

Our totals were 10/193, against Western Suburbs Mens 1st Grade's 246. Benji Floros made a terrific 50 off 69 balls, a well-made fifty. Jayden Draper provided good support with 38. The hosts' best with the ball was Soham Sane (four for 31).

Floros grabbed four for 62. Tighe Morris backed up well, taking two for 28. Fifty for Angus Tolhurst, who made 56 for our opponents. The hosts also got 30 from Steven McGiffin.

There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.

Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
