It was one to learn from for our Valley DCC B3, who were beaten by Wellington Point Wildcats B3 in QSDCA Competitions action.
Wellington Point Wildcats B3's innings ended at 7/257, ours at 3/82. Olly Gordon batted well for 33 off 127 balls. William Towers also got among the runs with 24 off 34 balls.
Jasmeet Singh picked up three for 29 off nine overs. Credit to Matthew Bloye, who made a half-century (77) for our opponents. Bradley Zeller added a handy 42 for the hosts.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
