There were smiles all round after our Valley KFC T20 Max chalked up a win over Sunshine Coast KFC T20 Max at home on Sunday.
Sunshine Coast KFC T20 Max batted first and reached 5/146 from 20 overs. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Nicholas Selman, who made 67. With the ball, Tom Straker did the damage, claiming two for 29 off four overs.
In reply, the side reached the target at 5/151 in 17.4 overs. Tighe Morris made a valuable 41 off 35 balls. Hugh Weibgen chipped in with 36.
Two wins on the trot now for the girls. Congratulations to all involved.
