Despite some good moments, our Valley DCC C3 came off second best against Coorparoo C3 on Saturday.
Our innings: 10/127. Coorparoo C3's: 10/213. Thomas Arthur batted well for 41 off 150 balls. Marc Fidler was the pick of our opponents' bowlers with three for 34. Andrew Swindells claimed three for 35 for the visitors.
Rishab Naik finished with five for 40, a five-wicket haul to savour. Arthur also took two for 24. Credit to Sam Rogers, who made 43 for our opponents.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
Chins up, everyone.
