Despite some good moments, our Valley A2 were denied by Wellington Point Wildcats A2 in QSDCA Competitions action.
With the bat, we made 5/40; Wellington Point Wildcats A2 made 9/228. Leading the way was Harry Weibgen with 23 off 72 balls.
Lachlan Andersen bowled superbly to finish with four for 54. Francis Heenan also took three for 56. Credit to Dylan Smith, who made a half-century (85) for our opponents. There were 49 from Jamie Stainburn for the visitors.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
On to the next one.
