In Senior Competition action, our Valley DCC C1N were too good for The Night Watchmen away from home.
The Night Watchmen's innings ended at 10/203, ours at 10/219 and 4/47. Connor Pukk brought up a good half-century, finishing with 50 off 117 balls. Damien Levett played a handy knock of 39. Solid support came from Darsh Patel, who made 32. Tom Lawrence was the best of our opponents' bowlers, finishing with three for 24.
Adam Murphy was the hero with the ball, claiming a five-wicket haul (five for 57). Patel offered good support with two for 25. Lawrence held the hosts' innings together with 43. Hamish Browne made 32 for our opponents.
It was a cracking all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up.
Well done, team.
