It was a day to regroup for our Valley Mens 4th Grade, who couldn't get past Gold Coast Mens 4th Grade on a tough day.
Gold Coast Mens 4th Grade batted first and reached 5/217 from 40 overs. Credit to Waheed Hasan, who made a half-century (60) for our opponents. Cameron Willis grabbed two for 26.
Our chase ended at 182 from 36 overs. Pranav Kumar brought up a good half-century, finishing with 66 off 79 balls. Lewis Carroll made 28 off 34 balls. Oam Patel bowled well for the visitors, taking three for 24.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
