It just wasn't our day: our Valley District Open Women lost to Wynnum Manly District Open Women away from home.
Batting first, we were all out for 73 in 25.5 overs.
Wynnum Manly District Open Women reached the target at 3/77 in 14.1 overs. Credit to Stephanie Antees, who made 31 for our opponents. Clare Daley bowled impressively to finish with two for 22.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. The girls will be keen to turn things around after two straight losses.
Well played to the hosts.
