Our Valley Mens 2nd Grade came unstuck as they fell to Gold Coast Mens 2nd Grade.
Over the course of the match we totalled 10/257, and Gold Coast Mens 2nd Grade 10/368. A classy 80 off 141 balls from William Nickelson was the highlight. Jack Beath made a terrific 63 off 69 balls, a well-made fifty. Sam Weir claimed four for 45 for our opponents.
Ajay Emmanuel grabbed two for 19. Oliver Harris weighed in with two for 56 off nine overs. JAXSON DAVIES passed fifty for the hosts, finishing with 79.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around. Chins up, everyone.
