It just wasn't our day: our Valley KFC T20 Max fell short against Gold Coast KFC T20 Max at Bill Pippen Oval in Mens Competitions.
Gold Coast KFC T20 Max's innings closed at 7/161 from 20 overs. Josh Kann was the main threat for our opponents, making 47. Benji Floros led the way with the ball, finishing with two for 16. Cameron Boyce offered good support with two for 22.
Chasing 162, we reached 9/142 from 20 overs. Sam Harper batted well for 40 off 22 balls with three fours and two sixes.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
Credit to the hosts, and well played.
