Despite a solid effort, our VDCC Stage 3 Girls were bettered by HPJCC Stage 3 - Team 2 at Ron Hall Oval in Brisbane Women's Competition.
HPJCC Stage 3 - Team 2 set us 109 to win, finishing on 7/108 from 17.5 overs. Emilie McGill was the pick of our bowlers with three for 8.
In reply, we finished on 3/97 from 17.5 overs. Sarah Harding's 17 off 20 balls was the highlight with the bat.
Credit to the hosts, who played well. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
