It was a good day out for our Valley KFC T20 Max, who overcame Wynnum-Manly KFC T20 Max at Bill Albury Oval in Womens Competitions.
The side batted first and reached 3/169 from 20 overs. Lucinda Bourke's 89 not out off 59 balls was a half-century to remember. Sasha Moloney weighed in with 32 off 19 balls.
Chasing 170, Wynnum-Manly KFC T20 Max reached 7/144 from 20 overs. Elyse Villani was the top scorer for our opponents with 45. Our best with the ball was Grace Abdy, who took three for 23. Meghan McCartney finished with two for 24.
Contributions came from right through the line-up. The team have now won three straight.
