It was one to learn from for our Valley Mens 3rd Grade, who were second best against Gold Coast Mens 3rd Grade on a frustrating day.
The side batted first and reached 10/117 from 38.4 overs. Joshua Martin led the way with 26 off 54 balls with two fours.
Gold Coast Mens 3rd Grade reached the target at 3/118 in 16.5 overs. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Parth Bhatt, who made 75 not out. Isaac Lutz grabbed two for 44.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. A tough stretch, and one the boys will be determined to end. Well played to the visitors.
