It was a good day out for our Valley KFC T20 Max, who recorded a win over Toombul KFC T20 Max on Saturday at Ken Mackay Oval.
The girls batted first and reached 9/167 from 20 overs. Fifty for Max Bryant, who finished with 57 off 30 balls. Jack Wildermuth played a handy knock of 28. Preston White returned three for 23 for Toombul KFC T20 Max.
Needing 168, the hosts finished on 9/99 from 20 overs. Tobias Snell batted well for our opponents, making 28 off 18 balls. Hugh Weibgen bowled nicely to finish with three for 21. Cameron Boyce weighed in with two for 17 off four overs.
It was an excellent all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. That's back-to-back wins for the team.
A terrific effort from the side.
